Hi, I'm Philip Lapinski.
I’m a software engineer who likes to bring complex ideas to life. My current focus is to explore the varying realms of software developement and see which one I can best serve.
ResumeWho I Am.
I love creating things that are useful and fun. My interest in programming started in 2014, when I was playing Minecraft and choosing my adventure.
Over the spread of 8 years, I’ve developed a range of different projects. From text-based games to a lightweight security web app, I’ve been exploring all the things you can do with a computer and a brain.
These are some of the most recent technologies I’ve been using:
- JavaScript
- React
- Node.js
- Express.js
- Python
- OpenCV
- EC2
- S3
- MongoDB
- SQL
Some things I've done.
Portfolio
(2022) FebruaryWanting to accelerate my career, I decided to create a website to showcase my Portfolio and tell the world a little bit about myself. It was a great chance to practice my development workflow: from designing in Figma, to implementing in React.
- HTML
- CSS
- JS
- React
- Firebase
WatchIT
(2021) SeptemberLeading a team of 6 students, I built a prototype of a user-defined action web application driven by object detection.
WatchIT lets people use their computers as lightweight object detectors that can perform basic actions upon detection like sending an email or playing a sound.
- React
- Node.js
- Express.js
- OpenCV
